Odyssey Sims agreed to a one-year deal with the Atlanta Dream on Monday, her fourth club in eight seasons.

The guard, who is a Baylor product, has averaged 12.8 points over 203 career games, with 2.7 rebounds and 3.9 assists. An All-Star in 2019 with Minnesota, Sims averaged 9.4 points over 13 games with the Lynx last season after joining the team following the birth of her son, Jaiden.

"I'm so excited to come to Atlanta," Sims said in a release. "I have longstanding relationships with current players on the team, and the connection I developed with Nicki once I cleared waivers sold me on coming there. I'm ready to get to work."

Over four games of the 2020 WNBA playoffs at Bradenton, Fla., Sims averaged 15.4 points and 1.8 steals as the Lynx advanced to the WNBA semifinals.

"We are thrilled to welcome Odyssey and her son Jaiden to the Dream," Atlanta head coach Nicki Collen said. "Odyssey is a high-level athlete who excels as both a scorer and a facilitator at the offensive end of the floor while having the ability to set the tone at the defensive end of the floor with her intense and physical ball pressure."

Sims, 28, was a former No. 2 overall draft pick by the Tulsa Shock in the 2014 WNBA draft. The Shock became the Dallas Wings in 2016. She also played for the Los Angeles Sparks (2017-18).
