After missing the past 10 games, Milwaukee Bucks point guard Jrue Holiday is expected to return to the lineup Sunday against the visiting Los Angeles Clippers, according to ESPN.

Holiday, 30, has been out due to the NBA's health and safety protocols, with the Bucks going 5-5 during his absence.

Holiday practiced with the team on Saturday.

Milwaukee acquired Holiday from the New Orleans Pelicans as the centerpiece of a four-team blockbuster deal in the offseason that involved multiple players, three future first-round draft picks and two future draft-pick swaps.

In 23 games with the Bucks (20-13) this season, Holiday has averaged 16.4 points, 5.4 assists and 4.8 rebounds.

Holiday was selected the 2020 NBA Teammate of the Year, capping a season in which he averaged 19.1 points, 6.7 assists and 4.8 rebounds. He is due $25.4 million for the 2020-21 season and holds a player option at $26.3 million for 2021-22.

A first-round pick (17th overall) of the 76ers in 2009 out of UCLA, Holiday spent four years in Philadelphia before he was traded to New Orleans in July 2013. Holiday, an All-Star in his final season for the 76ers, has career averages of 15.9 points, 6.4 assists and 3.9 rebounds in 736 games (663 starts).
