The Atlantic Coast Conference canceled next week's Florida State-Duke game due to ongoing COVID-19 conditions in Tallahassee.

Instead, No. 9 Miami will travel to Durham, N.C., to play the Blue Devils on Saturday night.

It's the third consecutive missed game for the Seminoles, whose latest contest against Virginia was called off due to Florida State having just 44 scholarship players available. Many of the missing players were expected to miss next week, too, due to protocols with contact tracing and quarantining.

Florida State is trying to reschedule the missed games against the Cavaliers and Clemson from the week before, but the contest with Duke will not be made up.

Miami's open date on Dec. 5 came about when COVID issues with Wake Forest forced that game to be called off. The Hurricanes haven't played since defeating Virginia Tech on Nov. 14. Miami's game against Georgia Tech from Nov. 21 was also postponed.
