The Los Angeles Rams released rookie kicker Sam Sloman on Tuesday.

The 2020 seventh-round pick missed three of 21 extra-point attempts and three of 11 field goals and registered only 22 touchbacks on 37 kickoffs through seven games.

Sloman, 23, made 1-of-2 field goals and all three PATs in Monday night's 24-10 victory against the Chicago Bears. His 48-yard attempt in the fourth quarter was blocked by Chicago's Roy Robertson-Harris.

The Rams signed veteran Kai Forbath off the Bears' practice squad last week.

Forbath, 33, converted all 11 of his field-goal attempts in four games with the Dallas Cowboys and New England Patriots in 2019.

Forbath has a career field-goal percentage of 86.8 in 81 career games with Washington, New Orleans, Minnesota, Jacksonville, Dallas and New England.
