Sportsbooks believe the Los Angeles Dodgers have the perfect remedy to overcome their stunning walk-off loss in Game 4 of the World Series on Saturday night.

It comes in the form of ace left-hander Clayton Kershaw, who will take the mound in Game 5 on Sunday.

Kershaw is 3-1 with a 2.88 ERA this postseason, while Tampa Bay Rays Game 5 starter Tyler Glasnow is 2-2 with a 6.08 ERA. That includes Kershaw allowing one run on two hits over six innings in Game 1, an 8-3 Los Angeles win that saw the Dodgers tag Glasnow for six earned runs over 4 1/3 innings.

The Dodgers are -160 favorites in Game 5 by FanDuel and -159 by DraftKings, with both books offering the Dodgers a 1 1/2-run favorites. Los Angeles was responsible for 90 percent of the handle and 74 percent of the total bets on the Run Line at DraftKings and 62 percent of the handle and total moneyline bets.

With the series tied 2-2, Los Angeles is the -184 favorite to win the title by FanDuel, with the book offering Tampa Bay at 152.

Coming off his 4-for-5 performance with a pair of RBIs and his eighth home run of the postseason on Saturday night, Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager has taken over as the World Series MVP favorite.

Seager is being offered at 350 by FanDuel ahead of Tampa Bay's Randy Arozarena (400) and Dodgers teammates Justin Turner (500), Kershaw (700) and Walker Buehler (800).

Mookie Betts, who opened the World Series as the 800 favorite, has seen his MVP odds lengthen to 2000 after going 0-for-5 on Saturday night to drop his series average to .235.
